The «Lube Tube» is a low noise buffer. The frequency response is flat, the gain is zero db.
Generally, when you have a long cable, or a long pedal chain, you should put a buffer in front of it, because the increased efficiency given by the buffer will cancel out any tone loss.
In a true bypass chain it is essential to use a buffer, mainly when the effects are bypassed.
If you use a vintage style wha-wha, it might be interesting to put the buffer after the wha-wha to maintain a constant level of fuzz and drive pedals.
Inside the enclosure there is a double dip switch. When both switches are on, the «Lube Tube» is true bypass. When both switches are off, the «Lube Tube» will alternate between mute and buffered.
The direct output is dedicated to tuner.
